Our global board is comprised of a president and six regional board members, all of whom are living with or have had viral hepatitis. Board members are democratically elected from each of the World Health Organization’s six regions: Africa, the Americas, Eastern Mediterranean, Europe, South-East Asia and Western Pacific. The executive board also appoint non-executive board members with specific skills to bridge gaps in expertise.
Board members are unpaid and their primary role is to provide governance and strategic direction to the organisation and in doing so make sure that we always remain an organisation for people living with viral hepatitis.
The global board are supported by a staff team who are primarily based in London who undertake the day to day operational delivery of the organisations strategy.
