Nominate your candidate to stand for election as a WHA Regional Board Member.

Nominations are open for candidates to stand for election as the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) Regional Board Members for the African (AFRO), Eastern Mediterranean (EMRO) and Western Pacific (WPRO) regions. A new Board member for each of these regions will be elected in December 2019 to begin their two-year term from January 2020.

With the deadline for nominations fast approaching, WHA would like to encourage members to nominate candidates to stand for election. All members can nominate a candidate.

Nominations will close at midnight on Sunday 17 November.

How to nominate a candidate:

  • Carefully review the role description with a particular focus on the person specification to ensure the person you have in mind fulfils all of the criteria for the role. Please note – you can only nominate a candidate for Regional Board Member who resides in the same country as your organisation.
  • Return the nomination form duly completed in English to admin@worldhepatitisalliance.org by 18th November 2018 including ‘WHA 2019 Election’ in the subject line. Please note that the front page of the form must be completed by yourself and page 2-4 by the candidate; failure to follow the instructions stipulated may result in the nomination not being considered.
