The National Organization for People Living with Hepatitis B (NOPLHB) is an indigenous patient driven organization, registered in Uganda as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
It is a pioneer non-public actor in the Viral Hepatitis response in Uganda. NOPLHB is a membership organization with over 2,000 members across the country.
Since inception in 2011, NOPLHB is growing into a household name in the Hepatitis response in the country. It stands out to be the largest NGO providing the most comprehensive Hepatitis knowledge, prevention, care and support services.
NOPLHB also advocates for the rights of Hepatitis patients, improvement of the diagnostic and clinical services for patients and creates awareness about the disease. It is a full registered member of the International Alliance of Patient's Organizations (IAPO), accredited member of World Hepatitis Alliance and Uganda Alliance of Patients' Organizations.
