RADFA is dedicated to promoting diversity and cultivating women and youth leadership in tribal areas to achieve gender equality.
Health is one of the many pillars that form the infrastructure of their organisation.
Through their work they have discovered how hepatitis rates are growing in the tribal communities of Pakistan. In 2018 RADFA arranged for 10 doctors to deliver awareness raising sessions on viral hepatitis to over 1,000 people in the local communities of tribal areas. Those 1,000 are encouraged to go on and deliver further training in the surrounding communities, with the aim that nobody will be unaware of it.
These same doctors are also attempting to identify those living with chronic viral hepatitis so they can put them on the pathway to treatment
