The Association of liver Patients Care ( ALPC) is a non governmental organization founded in 1997 in Dakahliah- Egypt.
It provides free treatment , free investigation and free medications for poor liver patients ,and help their families.
It aims to raise the awareness of prevention of liver diseases by holding conferences , campaigns , seminars and public lectures . It also holds specialized workshops for doctors to raise their efficiency.
The Association of liver Patients Care ( ALPC) is a founding member of the European Liver Patients Association (ELPA) since June 2004, due to its scientific activities exchanged with European associations in many countries.
The association is establishing a hospital and institute of liver research to be number one in the Arabic Area. The hospital is located in Sherbin near Mansoura on 4 acres . The association contracted with ( Almokaweloon Alarab) to accomplish the project.
The final phase includes the outpatient clinics , the laboratories , the pharmacy , the Endoscope unit , Catheter injection unit and radiation unit (sonars – magnetic resonance – C . T scan ).
The association aims to obtain the best laboratories and to establish a Plague Unit for monitoring the progress of liver diseases spread in the area to put the appropriate prevention strategies.
The association aims to establish a liver transplant unit to help patients who seek cure from chronic liver diseases.
