Women Can’t Wait- NOhep Moms. 11:00- 13:00 GMT+3 (Uganda) 

Building on this year’s NOhep Global Movement theme “NOhep Moms” and that of World Hepatitis Alliance “Hep Can’t Wait” the Ministry of Health of Uganda is convening the “Women Can’t Wait Conference” which is to be hosted by the Hepatitis Aid Organization. The High Level Event aims at engaging and empowering women in the fight to eliminate hepatitis in Uganda so that they realize their full potential, stand up for their rights and ensure their engagement and participation in the implementation, review and follow-up of the 2030 Hepatitis Agenda for Sustainable Development as well as other relevant global & national agendas and frameworks.

Hepatitis C Can’t Wait, Malaysia Isn’t Waiting 11:00 CEST/15:00 MYT (Malaysia) 

FIND and DNDi are organizing a webinar to observe World Hepatitis Day (WHD) with the support from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and the Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) under the theme ─ “Hepatitis C can’t wait, Malaysia isn’t waiting”. You will hear from our speakers on Malaysia’s determination and continuous commitment towards hepatitis C elimination and how rapidly Malaysia is moving onto a hepatitis C virus self-testing (HCVST) pilot study right after WHO’s global launch of the 1st HCVST guidelines (https://www.who.int/publications/i/it…) on 15 July 2021.
